Description

The Thomas Dowle Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 2 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St Deinst in Llangarron. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The memorial features a moulded plinth and a slightly hipped moulded capping. It has fielded rectangular inscription panels with shaped corners, which are flanked by balusters at the corners. This memorial commemorates Thomas Dowle of Bernithan Court, who died in 1812.
