Description

The Edmund Tovey memorial is a chest tomb located directly south of the chancel of the Church of St Deinst. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The tomb features lyre-shaped, scrolled end panels that flank the long sides, with scroll motifs surrounding the inscription panels. It commemorates Edmund Tovey of Treribble.
