Description
Llangarron Court is an 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with brick stacks and has hipped slate roofs. The building is L-shaped, with the main range aligned east to west and facing north, featuring a forward projecting cross-wing at the east end, along with additional extensions to both the west and east.
Originally, the principal range had end chimneys, but the eastern one is now surrounded by an early 19th-century bay that matches the original structure, with the entrance now located centrally. There is also an additional entrance at the angle of the cross-wing. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with altered window arrangements. The windows include a mix of 1:3 configurations, mainly cross-casement windows with cambered heads on the first floor, a 3-light window, a glazing bar sash window, and a 2-light casement on the ground floor, all featuring flat arches and stone voussoirs. The doorway has a cambered head, a 19th-century ledged door, and a crenellated quadrant porch with a partly-glazed door located at the angle of the L.
