Description

WOLVERLEY & COOKLEY CP WOLVERLEY SO 87 NW 6/154 Woodward memorial about 10 metres north-east of chancel of Church of St John the Baptist GV II Pedestal memorial. Died 1826. Sandstone ashlar. Moulded plinth, moulded cornice, stepped top with urn finial. Inscription panel slightly recessed below fluted frieze, west side: "In memory of/ John Woodward/ who died December 18th 1826/ Aged 76 years/; (several other members of family recorded).
