Description

This is an earlier 19th-century shop and dwelling located on the north side of St Owen Street, Hereford. The building is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof and a brick stack to the rear. It is three storeys high with a three-window front. The upper floors feature 6/6 sash windows with segmental arches, and smaller 3/6 sashes above. The eaves are detailed with brick modillions. A 19th-century shop front has a central recessed entrance flanked by plate-glass windows, with a fascia board and hood incorporating cast iron cresting. To the left of the entrance is a door leading to a passage at the rear. The ground floor also contains a 5-panel door.
