Description

A late 18th-century house, now a shop and dwelling, located on St Owen Street in Hereford. The building is two storeys high and has a hipped Welsh slate roof, with a brick lateral stack and a stack to the rear. It has a two-window range. The first and second floors feature 8/8 sash windows with rendered lintels, while the ground floor has 4/4 sash windows with gauged brick flat arches. Brick modillion eaves run along the top of the building. A 6-panel door with a fanlight is set within a moulded case and flat hood on pilasters; this is located on the left side of the building. A late 19th-century shop front is on the right, featuring a recessed part-glazed door and overlight, a canted plate-glass window, and a moulded fascia board with a simple hood.
