Description

No. 22 High Street is a shop and dwelling dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. The building is constructed of plaster and features a plain tile roof with a gable facing the street. It has three storeys and a single-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century casement window under a jetty supported by scrolled consoles, while the upper floors feature a tripartite window with sashes arranged in a 1/2: 3/6: 1/2 configuration. The building also has modillioned barge-boards with a mutilated finial and a 20th-century shop front. The interior has not been inspected.
