2 cottages. C17, with later alterations. Timber-frame with brick infill, on sandstone rubble plinth; steep-pitched slate roof; stack to right and rendered stack base with C20 brick chimney, to rear. 3-bay plan. Single storey and attic. Central entrance: plank door, in C20 brick gable porch; flanked by two C19 two-light casements under simple wood hoods; two C20 semi-dormers with 2-light metal casements. Further door and C20 3-light casement in rendered section to right with similar 2-light over. Left returned side: part-blocked C18 casement, and C19 casement, to gable. Rear: plank door. INTERIOR: deep-chamfered ceiling-frame; exposed timber-framing.
