Description

9 and 10 Newtown are two cottages dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. They have a brick base and feature timber framing with brick infill, topped with a thatched roof and brick ridge stacks. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have a four-window range. There is a part-glazed plank door located to the left of the center, and a part-glazed 20th-century door leading to a 20th-century porch to the right of the center. The ground floor has an irregular arrangement of four casement windows, while the center features two swept dormers. To the right, there is a four-light casement window in the Queen post cross-gable. The interior has not been inspected.
