Description
The Old Vicarage is a late 17th-century vicarage, now a house, with 20th-century alterations to the rear. It is constructed with a flint base and red brick walls, including some grey headers, and has a plain tile roof with brick end stacks. The building follows an L-shaped plan. It is two storeys high with an attic, featuring a five-window front. The central entrance has a 20th-century six-panel door, a fanlight, and an open pediment hood supported by Doric columns. The original leaded cross-windows remain in all openings. A brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and there is a dentil cornice to the eaves. There are three gabled dormers in the attic. The interior includes a late 17th-century staircase.
