Description
Ipsden Farmhouse and the attached barn are a Grade II listed farmhouse, likely built in the early 18th century with a front added in the mid-18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of colourwashed brick and has a slate roof with brick end stacks. It features a two-unit plan, is two storeys high, and has a three-window range. There is a central porch with a 20th-century glazed door, and tripartite sashes on both the left and right sides. The first floor has three 12-pane sash windows. To the left of the farmhouse is a single-storey wing made of grey brick with red brick dressings. The interior has not been inspected. The attached barn, probably from the mid-18th century, is made of grey brick with red brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with wooden louvred ridge ventilators. It is a six-bay barn with plank doors on the left and right of the centre and slatted openings on both sides. The barn features a double Queen-post roof.
