Description

Ivydene and Shamrock Cottage is a range of two tenements dating to the 17th century, with alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building has square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill and a rendered upper floor, and a Welsh slate roof. It comprises four bays aligned east to west, featuring axial and end stacks and a southern entrance. The two storeys contain four 2-light casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has a pair of ledged garage doors on the left, a ledged door and two 2-light casement windows in the centre, and a second ledged door and 2-light casement window to the right. The building is included on the list for its group value.
