Description

Bank House is a house dating to the 17th century, with alterations from the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill, standing on a sandstone rubble plinth. The roof is a combination of Bradstone slate and Welsh slate, with a raised eastern alignment. There is a large lateral stack at the rear, and the entrance is on the south front. The house has two bays on the left side with a two-storey section featuring two 2-light glazing bar casement windows at the first floor, a large 3-light window to the left, and a 12-pane glazing bar sash window to the right of a 20th-century door with a gabled canopy. A single-storey section to the right has a 3-light glazing bar casement window and a ledged door.
