Description

WIGMORE CP LIMEBROOK SO 36 NE 5/75 Outbuilding about 20 yards north-east of Upper Limebrook Farmhouse GV II Outbuilding, possibly a haybarn and byre. C17 with later alterations. Timber-framed with rendered infill on rubble base, some weatherboarding and corrugated iron cladding, corrugated iron roof. Five framed bays aligned north/south. Single level. Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall- plate to accommodate change in ground levels. West elevation has four square openings, a blocked opening with an arched head and a doorway. Timber-framed lean-to addition at south end. Interior: roof partly altered. Collar and tie-beam end trusses with struts and mainly intermediate tie-beam trusses with raking struts.
