Description
Limebrook Cottage is a cottage that may date back to the 16th century and has undergone later alterations. It is likely timber-framed and has a roughcast finish with a sandstone slate roof. The cottage features an extruded sandstone end stack with a detached brick shaft. It has a rectangular plan that is two or three bays wide and is aligned roughly north to south. The building is one storey with an attic.
On the west elevation, there are two ground floor windows; the left window is likely from the mid-19th century and has nine panes, while the right window is a two-light casement from the mid-20th century. There is a roughly central ledged door from the early 19th century. The south gable includes an attic light positioned to the left of the end stack. The east elevation has an extension with a catslide roof made of corrugated iron. The interior of the cottage is not accessible for viewing.
