Description
Limebrook Mill is a building that has been converted into a house. It likely dates from the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries. The structure is made of sandstone rubble and features a timber frame with weatherboards and plaster infill, topped with Welsh slate roofs and sandstone and brick stacks. The building is arranged in an L-shape with arms extending to the north and east, and it has two and three storeys.
On the south elevation, there is one window, which is a mid-20th century casement with two lights. The ground floor features a late 19th century 2-light casement beneath this window, and to the left, there is a 2-light mid-20th century steel casement. All these windows are set within the sandstone rubble walls. To the left, elements of the end truss of the north/south arm can be seen behind a large stack at the junction of the two arms. Attached to the north arm is a three-storey building with a rubble plinth, above which are three square panels of framing. Access to the interior is not available, and there is a glazed mid-20th century porch at the north-east angle of the two arms.
