Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 20 meters southeast of Upper Farmhouse, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a thatched roof covered with corrugated iron. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey plus a loft. At the near internal angle, there are doorways leading to both sections, along with a small window. The gables also contain windows and are both half-hipped beneath the corrugated iron. Inside, all trusses include tie beams and collars, with the principals crossed at the apex to support ridge pieces. Part of the interior is lofted, and there is a heavy wooden manger along one wall, suggesting it was likely used for stabling. This outbuilding is included for its group value.
