Description

Pinfolds is a row of three small houses that have been combined into one dwelling. It dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a thatch roof and rubble stacks. The layout is L-shaped with three two-unit plans, and it consists of one storey plus attics. Originally, each cottage had a central doorway, flanking casements, and one or two dormers; however, two doorways are now blocked and all casements have been renewed. The interior has not been inspected.
