Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and was re-modelled around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Stonesfield-slate roof with ashlar stacks. The building has a three-unit plan with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall plus an attic. The front has four windows, which are 16-pane sashes set beneath ashlar flat arches. There is a gabled stone porch in the third bay, above which the main wall rises to a stone-parapetted gable that contains a long sash, likely for lighting a stair. The steep-pitched roof includes two gabled roof dormers and three stacks with plinths and moulded caps, while the rear wing has an additional gable stack. The interior has not been inspected.
