Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters north-east of Upper Kimbolton Farmhouse, dates from the 15th century or early 16th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. It is timber-framed with rubble additions, features 20th-century weatherboard cladding, and has a corrugated metal roof. The barn consists of two bays, with later extensions added to both ends. Inside, there are three cruck trusses that still have their spurs and yokes, although the tie-beams have been damaged. The barn is noted for the preservation of its earlier core.
