Description

This barn, located approximately 20 metres behind numbers 38 and 40 St Owen Street in Hereford, dates back to the 17th century. Originally built as a barn, it has since been converted into a garage and store. The structure features a timber frame with brick elements and is clad in vertical weatherboarding, topped with 20th-century pantiles. It stands two storeys tall and includes various windows, casements, and doors. The east gable is made of 20th-century brick, while the west gable has 20th-century infill and lights. Inside, there is evidence of fire damage and jowelled posts.
