House, now hotel. Mid C19. Stucco; hipped plain tile mansard roof; stucco lateral stacks; stack to rear. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 6-window range: plain sashes with awnings, in shouldered moulded architraves; decorated storeyband; plain sashes with moulded architraves and corbelled sills; the central pairs of windows flanked by pilasters with enriched capitals; rusticated quoins; frieze to moulded and modillioned cornice. Central entrance: portico with part-glazed, panelled double doors and decorated lights under moulded frieze on enriched columns; flanked by pairs of plain sashes; cast-iron balcony over. Left returned side: returned storeyband and eaves cornice; advanced bay with tier of plain sashes, balcony, and rusticated quoins. Right returned side has tier of 2 plain sashes in advanced bay with returned storeyband, and rusticated quoins. INTERIOR: Empire staircase with turned balusters and decorative plasterwork, and pilasters with fluted capitals to hall; dogleg staircase with ringed, turned balusters. 1st floor: 4-panel doors with various architraves; C19 marble corner fireplace; coved ceilings, with rose. Ground floor: coved and panelled room (left front); fireplace. Cellar: 4-panel door.
