Description

This barn, located approximately 50 meters south-east of Pateshall Farmhouse, dates back to 1784 and has undergone minor later alterations. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a corrugated metal roof. The barn is seven bays long and is aligned north to south. It has two entrances for threshing floors, which are flanked by four rows of alternating triangular vents. The structure includes inclined strut trusses. This barn is noted for being a fairly complete example from its date.
