Description
This barn, located approximately 30 metres south-east of Pashley Green Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed from thinly-coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The barn consists of three internal bays, although it may have originally extended further to the left, as suggested by a straight joint at the left end. The first bay includes an entrance with an oak lintel, while the second and third bays have a continuous outshut. There is a blocked cart-entry at the rear and a triangular vent, along with two possibly later doorways on the right side.
Inside, the barn has two king-post trusses with queen struts, with the right truss supported on an arcade post that is braced to the arcade plate. An aisle tie is also present.
