Description

This barn, located about 25 yards southeast of Rose Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is timber-framed with wattle and brick infill panels set on a rubble base and features a tiled roof. The barn consists of four bays with opposed entrances leading to the threshing floor, which is one bay from the left. The frame is three panels high, with the top range being woven and the lower two made of brick. The woven panelling extends over the entrance doors, preventing them from reaching full height.
