GV II Farmhouse. C16, extended C17 and early C19 with some mid-C20 alterations Timber-frame with rendered infill partly clad in coursed rubble under a slate roof. L-plan, C16 limb to east, later range to south. West front has early C19 range to right with gable-end stack, most of elevation rough- cast. Two storeys to right, one storey with attic lit by a gabled dormer to left. Three 2-light casements to right. Ground floor has two 2-light casements with entrance between, which has a 2-pane overlight with the hipped slate-roofed porch. A further entrance to left has a half-glazed porch. The rear wing of C16 is jettied on the south and east sides, and was originally jettied on the west before the later range was erected. Framing of C16 is close-studding with mid-rail and straight angle braces. Two original project- ing windows survive with moulded sill and 4-lights with ovolo mullion and transoms. The sides are panelled. Interior has exposed moulded ceiling beams. There are some re-used smoke blackened beams,in the roof structure of the C17 portion.
