Description

ALMELEY CP THE STOCKS SO 35 SW 1/34 Barn about 20 yards west of Lower Stocks GV II Barn. Probably C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble plinth and weatherboarded timber-framing with sandstone rubble additions. Corrugated iron roof. Rectangular four-bay plan aligned east/west with porch to north side. North elevation has sandstone projecting portion to left of large gabled weatherboarded porch to right of centre. Frame is variously two and three panels high from cill to wall-plate. Interior has trusses with angle struts.
