Description

This early 19th-century boundary wall and gatepiers stand on the south side of Burgage Lane in Southwell. The wall is approximately 90 metres long and constructed of dressed stone, coursed rubble, and ashlar. A pair of square gatepiers, featuring plinths and simple pyramidal caps, mark the entrance. The wall to the east has a ramped, half-round stone coping.
