Description

This is a house located at 1A Town Wharf in Newark on Trent, built around 1800, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a concrete tile roof with a single ridge stack. It features brick sills, rebated eaves, and a gutter supported by brackets. The house has two storeys and a three-window arrangement. The central window is blank, flanked by two segment-headed, two-light casements. Below, to the right, there is a round-headed opening that contains a half-glazed 19th-century door with an overlight and sidelights. In the center, there are two renewed segment-headed 12-pane sash windows, with a blank space to their left. To the far left, there is a 19th-century close-boarded entry door.
