Description

Purefoy House, currently serving as an office and flat, is a house built in the early 19th century with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is designed in the Classical Revival style and features a stucco exterior with a rusticated ground floor. Above this, there are double pilasters, a frieze adorned with wreaths, and a pediment. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range consisting of 12-pane sash windows. The central window, which was added in the 20th century, is a single-pane design and is flanked on the left by a small plain sash window and on the right by a fielded six-panel door with an overlight.
