Description
Beaumond Cross House is a house located on London Road in Newark on Trent. It was built in the late 18th century, with later additions from the late 19th century and alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a pyramidal pantile roof along with a gabled slate roof. Notable architectural details include first and second floor bands, dentilled eaves, and a coped gable on the rear wing, as well as a central ridge stack. The first and second floor windows are fitted with louvred shutters. The house has three storeys and a two-window range of 12-pane windows above two glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Below, there is a central canted late 19th-century bay window. The left side has similar window arrangements, with a canted bay window on the right. The rear wing on the left features a 2-light casement window.
