Description
The Castle and Falcon Public House and attached outbuildings, located on London Road in Newark on Trent, date from the early to mid-19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century and a rear addition. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof, with dentilled eaves and a single gable stack. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range of 20th-century casements. Below this, there is a central door flanked by single casements, all of which are also from the 20th century and have segmental heads. At the back, there is a long single-storey wing that has both slate and pantile roofs, dentilled eaves, and a single ridge stack. This building is included for its group value.
