GV II

2 houses, now cafe and shop. Late C17 and mid C18, with mid C19 and late C20 alterations. Restored c1989. Coursed squared stone with stone dressings plus pantile and concrete tile roofs. Plinth. 2 and 3 storeys; 2:2 windows. 3-storey facing gable, to right, has C19 traceried barge-board. 2 renewed 12-pane sashes and above, 2 similar sashes, all with projecting surrounds. Altered C19 shop front with single pane window to left and glazed door to right. 2-storey block to left has 2 plain sashes with projecting surrounds. Ground floor has late C19 wooden shop front with pilasters and cornice, with single-pane window to left and glazed door and overlight to right. To right, a former entry with stone lintel, with infill panel and single-pane window. In the former entry, a C19 wood-cased lead pump and stone trough. Right range has chamfered span beams to ground floor.
