Description

This is a house, dating to circa 1790, which has been altered to serve as a shop and disused offices. It is constructed of coursed squared stone, painted, with stone dressings and a slate roof. The roof has two gable stacks and a single ridge stack, made of brick. The building features quoins, chamfered eaves, and a gutter supported by brackets. It is three storeys high, with a three-window facade. The upper floors have a range of 12-pane sashes with projecting surrounds, and above those, three 9-pane sashes with similar surrounds. The ground floor incorporates a full-width shop front, installed in the late 20th century, with a prominent fascia.
