Description

10 and 12 Stockwell Gate is a house that has been converted into two shops and a photographic studio. It dates from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone that has been painted, featuring stone dressings and a slate roof with two brick gable stacks. It has moulded eaves and stands three storeys tall, with a two-window range of plain sashes. Above this are two smaller 20-pane sashes, with the lower lights reglazed using single panes. The ground floor has two late 20th-century shop fronts, and there is a doorway to the right.
