Description

39 Bailey Street is a house that has been converted into two shops. It dates from the early 19th century and has seen later additions and alterations. The building is made of red brick and features a slate roof with internal end stacks. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window front. The first floor has four-paned sash windows, while the second floor has smaller glazing bar sashes, all of which are topped with plain stone lintels. The shopfronts were added in the 20th century but still retain rectangular barred overlights above the doors on the left and center. At the rear, there is a full-height gabled brick range.
