Description

No. 140 Nottingham Road is a cottage, now used as offices, built around 1840. It is constructed of brick with a combination of concrete tile and slate roofing, and features some rendered areas. The building has a plinth, stucco dressings, and dentillated eaves, along with two gable stacks. It stands two storeys high and consists of two bays. The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes, and the ground floor openings are topped with keystoned stucco lintels. The front of the building has a central door flanked by single sash windows. Above this, there are two additional sash windows. The west gable includes a modern wooden garage with a slate roof, as well as two modern casement windows on each floor.
