Description

A pair of early 19th century lacemakers' cottages, now houses, located on Nottingham Road in Stapleford. The buildings are constructed of brick and have slate roofs, with dentillated eaves and two gable stacks. The cottages are three storeys high and two bays wide. The windows are mostly 20th century casements set within rubbed brick segmental arches. The front elevation features paired central doors, flanked by single casements. Above are two casements, and above again, four larger casements with square heads. Each gable incorporates an attic casement.
