Description
124 Nottingham Road is a mid-19th century house built of brick with a plain tile roof and ashlar dressings. It features two gable stacks and has two storeys plus garrets, arranged in three bays. The windows include glazing bar and Yorkshire sashes, as well as 20th-century casements.
The front of the house has a half-round carriage entry on the left, complete with imposts and a keystone. To the right of the carriage entry is a small sash window, followed by a door with an overlight and a keystoned lintel, which is flanked by two 20th-century flat-roofed bay windows set on late 19th-century plinths. Above this door, there is a large Yorkshire sash window to the left and a small sash window to the right. Further right, there is a round-headed sash window with a hood mould, flanked by two sashes that also have keystoned lintels.
At the rear, on the left, there is a door flanked by two large Yorkshire sashes. To the right, there is another door and a carriage opening. Above this, there are three Yorkshire sashes, with the central one being the smallest.
