Description

The building is a mid-18th century house with alterations from the later 19th century. It is constructed of brick, now rendered and painted, with a pantile roof. It has two painted brick gable stacks, raised brick coped gables with slates laid over and kneelers. The main part of the house is two storeys high and three bays wide. The central doorway has a panelled door with glazing in the panels, topped by a projecting hood supported on brackets. Either side of the doorway are single 19th-century glazing bar sashes with wedge lintels. Above these are three smaller glazing bar sashes. To the right is a one-and-a-half storey wing of rendered and painted brick, with a hipped pantile roof and a single stack. The ground floor of this wing has a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash, and above it is a similar, smaller sash. Further to the right, set back, is a single-storey single-bay wing of painted brick with a hipped pantile roof and a single 20th-century glazing bar sash.
