Description

Numbers 80 and 82 are school lodges built in 1836, featuring brick construction with slate roofs. They have ashlar plinths, quoins, and dressings, with coped gables and kneelers. The rainwater heads are inscribed with "W. 1836". The buildings are two storeys high and consist of two bays. Most windows are mullioned casements with hood moulds.

Number 80 has a stepped coped boundary wall with a doorway on the east side. To the right of this wall is a single bay addition that is set back. Further right, there is a gabled porch with bargeboards and a four-centred arched opening, flanked by single casements. Above the porch, there are two cross-eaves dormers. The south gable of Number 80 has two 20th-century casements and a 19th-century casement above.

Number 82 is in an L-plan layout and has a partly dismantled side wall stack along with casements featuring lozenge glazing bars. The west front includes a wing to the right and a gabled porch with bargeboards in the return angle, which has a four-centred arched opening and is flanked by single casements of varying sizes. Above, to the right, is another casement. The north gable has a casement above, while the south side features a casement to the right.

The brick boundary wall has a battered brick plinth and gabled ashlar coping, with four canted ashlar and brick piers that have plinths. The two piers on the right have pyramidal caps, and there are late 20th-century wooden gates.
