Description

No. 25 Gainsborough Road is a cottage built in the mid-18th century with some mid-19th century alterations. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a steeply pitched concrete tiled roof. The roof has a coped gable at the north end, a large central chimney stack, and a gable stack at the rear. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys with a two-bay front. It includes a plinth, a first-floor band, and a second-floor band on the north side. There are two plain sash windows with segmental heads on the ground floor, and two similar windows above them on the first floor. The doorway is located on the south side. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
