Description
The gateway to Gate Burton Hall is a late 18th-century structure made of limestone ashlar. It features two central gate piers flanked by smaller gate piers on each side, all connected by cast iron railings. The main gate piers have tall blind arched panels, a moulded cornice, and a rectangular block above that displays a pale yellow oval rosette, along with a moulded upper cornice and cap. The outer piers also have blind arched panels, a blocked cornice, a rectangular block above, and a moulded cap. This gateway is included for its group value.
