Description

The gateway to Blythe Hall is an entrance structure built around 1920. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and sandstone ashlar, featuring iron gates and lamps. The design has a concave plan with a central gateway flanked by tall square gate piers and large double gates. The lower quadrant walls are adorned with balustrades, and the terminal piers are topped with short iron latticed standards that hold lamps. This gateway is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
