Description
Leas Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of handmade red brick in English garden wall bond, with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The building has a double-depth, double-fronted plan and features a projected porch. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with one window on each side of the central entrance. The low two-storey gabled porch includes a round-headed doorway and a two-light casement window above, which has a raised sill and wedge lintel. There are three-light casements on both floors, also with similar sills and lintels. The farmhouse has gable chimneys, and the rear includes sliding sash windows. It forms a group with The Lodge on Sandy Lane, located approximately 50 meters to the northeast.
