Description
Robinson's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into an office and flat. It likely dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a sandstone plinth and some sandstone dressings, topped with a stone slate roof. It has a rectangular, double-depth, double-fronted layout, standing two storeys high with an attic. The façade features two windows that are symmetrical, with a central doorway that has a board door and a wooden doorcase, now sheltered by a rustic wooden porch. Each floor has two 3-light casement windows, all with raised sills and flat-arched heads, with the left window being wider than the others. There are gable chimneys and a very small 4-pane attic window in the left gable. At the rear, there are 2-light windows, including a central stair-window. The farmhouse forms a group with The Lodge on Sandy Lane, located to the south-west.
