Farmhouse, now office and flat. Probably late C18; altered. Red brick in Flemish bond, with sandstone plinth, some sandstone dressings, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth double-fronted plan. Two storeys and attic, 2 windows, symmetrical; central doorway with board door and wooden doorcase, now protected by rustic wooden porch; two 3-light casement windows on each floor, all with raised sills and flat-arched heads, that to the left wider than the others. Gable chimneys. Very small 4-pane attic window in left gable. Rear: 2-light windows, including central stair-window. Forms group with The Lodge, Sandy Lane (q.v.) to the south-west.
