Description

Thornleigh House is a mid-18th century house constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings. It features steeply pitched pantile roofs with brick coped gables, kneelers, and gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and includes an ashlar plinth, a first-floor band, and quoins. It stands two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central doorway has been replaced by a window, and there are three glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and three above, with the one over the door being narrower. All windows are topped with ashlar splayed lintels.
