Description

Berfoston Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage built of colourwashed brick. It features a steeply pitched pantile roof with stone coped gables, a large ridge stack, and a single gable stack at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high with a two-bay front, which includes a first-floor band and a second-floor band on the west side. The central doorway has a 20th-century hood and a glazed door, flanked by single sash windows with segmental heads. Above, there are two additional sashes, all of which have margin lights.
