Description

No. 7, Nottingham Road is an early 19th century pair of cottages, now combined into a single house. The building is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with a slate roof, and features a single ridge stack. It has a square plan and two storeys plus garrets, with two bays visible from the front. Most of the windows are glazing bar sashes, each with a splayed stucco lintel. The street front features two sashes, flanked to the left by a blocked door and to the right by a door with an overlight. The west gable has a rounded corner to the southwest and a door with a segmental head. To the right of the door is a casement window. Above, a casement window serves the garret. The rear of the property has a two-story brick addition with a flat roof, added in the mid-20th century.
