Description

The Bakehouse at The Aviaries is a picturesque building that served as both a bakehouse and wash house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a pebbledash finish and features a slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of three bays, with one canted end. The windows are glazing bar casements. The canted end has a central door with a hatch to the left and a single window to the right. The left side of the building has two doors, while the right side has three windows. Above the structure, there are deep eaves that form a verandah, supported by timber posts.
